Occasionally people do need to perform self-catheterisation. This can be due to a number of reasons. We understand that it is sometimes a traumatic thing to do, so we have a nurse educator who runs a clinic once a month to teach you the best techniques and give you tips. You will be taught how to perform the self-catheterisation with less pain, how to reduce infections and about the different type of catheters available to you.
