Flexible Cystoscopy

A flexible cystoscopy is a small camera that is inserted into the urethra to inspect your internal lower urinary tract organs.

After applying the numbing gel, Dr Al Sameraaii will insert the cystoscope into the urethra and inspect your organs. The in-office cystoscope camera will project onto an HD screen for the patients to see what is going on while the procedure is done.

Dr Al Sameraaii is happy to provide cystoscopies both in the office and in hospital. The in-office cystoscopy is a good alternative for patients who don’t have private hospital insurance and don’t want to be on the long waiting lists at the public hospital.

The procedure can take 10-30 minutes depending on the case.
