iAluRil GAG layer therapy is used to treat interstitial cystitis, radiation cystitis and chemical cystitis.
Once arriving for an iAluRil instillation, the patient will be asked to void to empty their bladder followed by a catheter insertion to ensure complete emptying.
In a supine position, the iAluRil is inserted through a clean catheter into the bladder and the patient will hold it in for approximately 60 minutes, rotating side to side every few minutes to ensure the iAluRil is covering all walls of the bladder.
iAluRil is administered once a week for the first month, followed by every second week for the second month and finally once a month until stable remission.
